The Palico management team is comprised of seasoned private equity entrepreneurs and online industry professionals. They all contribute unique private equity, online platform development, and sales & marketing expertise to the venture.
Founder, Chairman & CEO
Antoine heads Palico. He has over 20 years’ experience as a private equity pioneer, founding three innovative firms. Antoine created Triago in 1992, Europe’s first independent placement agent. In 2007, Antoine started Mantra, an investment company focused on listed private equity and non-traditional funds. Antoine began his professional career in 1986 in a French advisory firm specialized in distressed situations. Antoine holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is a Chairman of the Wharton Executive Board for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Chief Operating Officer
Odile runs Palico’s operations. She has over 20 years’ experience developing online businesses. Most recently, she was CEO of web distribution strategy consultant Online Vision. Earlier, she created and ran the global online distribution and e-commerce division of Atari and was European CEO of Boonty, an online creator and distributor of digital games for AOL, France Telecom, Yahoo and others. She began her career as co-founder of Difintel, a digital games retail-store franchiser, listed in 2000. Odile earned a Masters degree in Applied Language Studies from the Sorbonne.
Vice President Product Management & Chief Technology Officer
Gilles is responsible for all aspects of Palico’s products as well as the overall architecture and development of Palico’s platform. Before joining Palico, Gilles was director of web and mobile development at Twenga, an eCommerce Search Engine. Earlier, Gilles was managing director at OCTO Technology, a French IT consultant, where he advised CALYON, Société Générale, PagesJaunes, Canal+ Overseas, M6 Publicité and others on IT strategy and Agile product development. Gilles holds an MSc Engineering degrees from ENSTA (France) as well as from the University of Michigan (USA).
Chief Compliance Officer, Principal Americas
Ken is responsible for compliance. A CPA for over 30 years, his experience ranges from management positions with auditing firms to Controller and CFO posts. As a licensed Series 7, 24 and 28 individual, Ken has served as FINOP and compliance advisor to broker-dealer and FINRA-registered companies since 2007. Ken also heads his own firm, which includes a team of seven professionals providing part-time Chief Financial Officer and management advisory services to clients ranging from multi-site retail establishments to financial services firms.
Manager Research & Data
Julien is responsible for the Research and Data Team. He has over 12 years’ experience managing complex transactions and data compilation, covering more than 90 legal jurisdictions throughout the world. Before joining Palico, Julien was at Groupama, where among other responsibilities, he handled global execution for the group’s fund-of-fund investments in Venture, Growth, Buyout and Mezzanine vehicles. Prior to that, he held Private Equity and M&A positions with LCF Rothschild, Close Brothers and Deloitte Finance. Julien earned a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance from EM-Lyon.
Vice President of Marketing
Jeffrey is responsible for Palico’s global marketing. He has over 18 years of experience developing digital businesses in industry’s ranging from entertainment to finance. Before joining Palico, Jeffrey managed business and product development for Sesame Street’s mobile and internet offerings in both developed and emerging markets. Earlier, he held marketing and business development positions at Outcurve Technologies, eAgents.com and Synapse Group. Jeffrey holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Economics and Public Policy from Brown University.
